We all want to teach our kids what’s right and empower them to make healthy and positive choices for their life. That’s what our youth ministry is all about. Through fun and interesting programs that are both social and educational we seek to empower our youth with values. All aspects of our youth programs focus on character development, leadership training, and developing healthy relationships.
Sunday School
Early Elementary (ages 5-7) and Upper Elementary (ages 8-10)
Both age levels start the class with lively singing together. Students study Bible stories and what they mean in daily life for us. Art projects and free play time round out the time in Sunday School.
Preschool children are welcome to participate with the early elementary children. If your child is shy, you are more than welcome to stay with him or her. Your child may want to simply color or play but be together with other children.
Middle School
Meets the first two Sundays of the month. The lessons focus on application of scripture to daily life. The other two Sundays students attend Sunday Service.
High school students are encouraged to attend Sunday Service.
We also have Camp Aurora every summer for a week! Camp Aurora is a summer camp for young Unificationists. Our programs offer youth memorable and profound experiences and the opportunity to develop connections of heart with other Blessed Children in an energizing camp setting. Camp Aurora strives to help young Unificationists develop a personal relationship with God and a deeper understanding of the life and teachings of Reverend and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon.
